It skips sometimes.

A Human heart,
Our heart,
Beats one lakh eighty thousands times in a day,
But every once in a while,
It skips a beat.
That one heart beat is dedicated to them,
To that one person,
Who steals our pulse.
Our hearts are fragile,
And strong at the same time.
They break every once in a while,
So we pick up the pieces,
Patch it up again.
I never knew much science,
But I’d like to believe,
That we feel and heal,
Through our hearts.
It skips a beat sometimes,
But it’s worth it,
Always so worth it.
It skips for that one human being,
That’s how we know they are special,
That’s how much we trust our heart.
A human heart,
Isn’t weak,
We break it,
It still beats,
Over and over again.
It chooses who it beats for,
And who it skips a beat for.
We want love,
But we don’t want the heart anymore,
Which is just sad,
If we really know,
How powerful is a human heart.
