Exists an abandoned castle,
Hidden from the world,
But it still somehow sparkles.
Just filled with untold stories,
If we could just turn back time,
And enjoy it a little.

Place of lost art,
Torn faded painting,
Crumbling statues,
I wonder,
How beautiful it must be to live in a place like this.
In a room somewhere,
Letter covered in dried coffee and dust,
Letters of his unrequited love,
The ones he never sent,
The ones she’ll never get.
Oh how it would’ve been,
If he had been a bit more courageous,
If he had not given up
What if she felt the same someday,
What if the hope to united with her someday,
Would keep him a bit more alive.
Abandoned castle,
Full of mysteries,
Of the exquisite ball dances,
We never saw,
People waltzing around,
Entranced by the night,
Everyone in love,
With no one to fight.
Abandoned castle,
Filled with glory.
