Closure is a myth,
It does not exist,
It’s mearly our mind blabbering,
Blabbering things to make us believe,
That we will get through.
Closure is a myth,
We can’t lock up our emotions for someone,
Put it in a closed box and burn it.
Closure is a myth,
It’s just a distraction.
We spend so much time,
Looking for closure,
That we forget about our worries,
And focus on false pretenses.
Closure is a myth,
It’s time that helps us,
It helps us move on,
And let go.
So stop,
Stop looking for closure,
As it does not exist.
Let time run its course,
And someday you’ll find your way back home.
